Scroll Down

Please be sure to scroll down, as I have loaded something for everyday since the 6th, as I was late and didn't get it done. Enjoy

Day #21

This is the starting of the cinnamon twist sticks I made earlier today. I don't have a finished example because they all got ate right up. When I do this again, I will have to add more cinnamon and sugar! But they were good! These weren't homemade but rather I used frozen rolls. Again the recipe is from cdkitchen if you want it. Oh and I turned on my stove and place the rolls ontop to defrost and they were ready for me within a hour (not bad).

Day #20

Yummy! Homemade breadsticks!! I haven't made homemade bread sticks in a long time and these were great! And I did make them on the 20th... so the right day again!
Recipe is from cdkitchen.com

Day #19

I might have to reload this picture when I have more time too. I did make this on the 19th! So I am finally caught up!! If you happen to try the recipe please reply and let us know how you liked it! This is one of our favorites in our house... and I am sure one of the best for us :)
Chocolate Cream Dessert:
3/4 Cup cold butter or margarine
1 pkg. (18.5 oz) chocolate cake mix
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioner's suger (powder sugar)
4 cups whipped topping, divided
3 cups cold milk
2 pkg (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
2 tablespoons chocolate curls
In a bowl, cut butter into the cake mix until crumbly. Add the egg and mix well. (yes it will be still crumbly). Press into a greased 13x9x2 pan. Bake @ 350 for 15-18 minutes or until set. Cool completely on a wire rack.
In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping. Carefully spread over the crust; refrigerate.
In a bowl, whisk the milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes; let stand until slightly thickened. Spread over cream cheese layer. Top with the remaining whipped topping. Garnich with cholocate curls.
Refrigerate leftovers.
Yield: 12 servings

Day #15

In the town my parents live, an Indian tribe came in and talked about the culture and danced. It was so fun to watch! I just loved the colors in the outfits. (this was taken when it was warm, don't worry).

Day #14

This was taken a while back... but it is of hail.. the bigger one is bigger than a pea. Just thought this would be fun to share, we actually saved some in the freezer for Daddy to see when he got home (how nice of us!)

Day #13

Day #6

Ok I got way behind.. so I am going to try to catch back up. Some of them were taking the same day while others were taking different days (oh well.. it is all fun to see either way, right?)

First off... Happy B-day to me!

I am again just getting to a picture late... so I have to find something fun to photograph. Here is some popcorn. Mia and her cousin needed a snack while watching TV, so what better than popcorn!

Day #4

Mia got a DVD w/ accessories to learn to be a princess. Part of that is to drink like a princess. So here is the cup and saucer that came with it:

And I couldn't help but get Mia's hands holding it. The background is the movie. Here cousin Samantha is spending the night tonight so she wanted to show her the movie. Sam was also showing Mia her dance moves (she is in dance class) and Mia enjoyed that.

Day #3

Well I am cutting it short, but still making it on day 3!
So here is the first one.. nice clean dishes (well it was the only thing that looked good and I wouldn't wake up by taking it's picture... so that is also why it isn't the greatest picture) But I love clean dishes! I should have got a picture earlier with Maylee helping... she is way to cute!
And I turned around and this is what I see. The girls actually got finger paint (Thanks Uncle John and Aunt Robi!! We love it!!) for Christmas. This is the first papers they did using it and they pulled it out today to admire it. I will have to get pictures the next time we play with it!(and notice the keyboard in the back ground.. still practicing!!!).

So 2 pictures for today... Enjoy!

Here is my version of both. And yes they taste yummy!!! If you want the recipe I used with my changes... let me know and I will post it.
Have a great dinner!

Day #1

Hi and Happy New Year's to everybody.

My name is Marcia and I like to take pictures. I decided to do a blog so I can post a picture a day for the whole year. I am hoping to better myself and learn a ton by doing this. Since I just decided to do this.. the first picture isn't of my girls. But rather a keyboard... one of my goals this year to learn it better. Have fun and hope to keep this up!
